Trip Itinerary
DAY 1
Pick Up from the Airport
Your personal tour guide will be at the airport to pick you up upon arrival. From there, you will travel together in a private air-conditioned vehicle to begin your stopover tour in Egypt.
Travel Tip: To take full advantage of this tour itinerary, we encourage visitors to schedule a morning arrival on day one or arrive at their hotel the night prior. Pick up from the hotel can be arranged in lieu of the airport.
Visit Egypt’s Ancient Capital
Upon meeting your tour guide, you’ll kick off your tour with your visit to the oldest capital in the world and the first capital of ancient Egypt, the City of Memphis.
Explore Saqqara
After taking in the breadth of history in Memphis, your tour guide will accompany you to Saqqara to visit the oldest stone structure ever built, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. This unique site is also considered as the first pyramid in all of Egypt.
Enjoy an Authentic Egyptian Meal
Following your guided tour of Saqqara, you will stop for lunch to experience an authentic Egyptian meal. This is often one of the most favorite parts of the tour itinerary. Get ready to taste some amazing local food!
Giza Pyramids & Sphinx Tour
During the last stop of your Day 1 tour, you will visit Giza Plateau where you can see the only ancient wonder of the world that is still fully standing, the Great Pyramid. Along with the Pyramid of King Cheops, you’ll visit two additional pyramids, the Pyramid of King Khephren and the Pyramid of King Mecrenus, the Great Sphinx and Valley Temple.
Drop Off at Your Hotel
At the end of the day, your tour guide will escort you back to your hotel and set the meeting time for the morning.

DAY 2
Pick Up from Your Hotel
Your personal tour guide will meet you at your hotel bright and early. From there, you will drive together in a private air-conditioned vehicle to start your tour.
Explore Cairo & Visit the Egyptian Museum
You’ll start your day by visiting the Egyptian Museum, where you’ll learn about thousands of ancient artifacts. Get ready to learn all about Egypt’s ancient history — you will be in awe!
Enjoy an Authentic Egyptian Meal
On this day, you’ll get to try some more food! Depending on what you’re craving, your tour guide will take you to a local restaurant to learn more about local food and culture.
Visit Old Coptic Cairo
A visit to Cairo would not be complete without visiting Old Cairo. During this part of the tour, you’ll learn all about early Christianity and even walk the steps of the holy family in Cairo. You’ll also visit the Jewish temples, the Citadel, and Muhammad Ali Mosque.
Drop Off at the Airport
This tour offers door to door service, so at the end of Day 2, you will be dropped back off at the airport, unless other accommodations are requested. These can be provided.

A payment for the full amount of the tour will be requested once the tour has been confirmed. Payments using a credit / debit card must be made online within 24 hours of the confirmed booking.
